AbstractThe researches on developmental programs of different countries in the world have shown the importantrole of information and comminication teachnology.The current study examines the level of using andutilizing information and comminication teachnology in research and educational arena of IsfahanUniversity.It is of a survey nature and the statistical community includes graduate students, post graduatestudents and the faculty CENTAURY members of Isfahan University in 2008 (1387) that are 3981 persons.Samplingmethod is done corresponding to the volume of the community and the scal is likert five degree, validity ofthe research is approved by a number of faculty members and graduate student s and by using Cronbakhalpha, the reliability of questionnaire is calculated 79% for items of educational index and 81% for items ofresearch index.
The results show that the average level of using information and comminication teachnologyby respondents varies due to their educational level, and the highest level belongs to the faculty members.The Tuky test shows that the difference of the average of using information and comminication teachnologybetween postgraduate Glasses and graduate students is not meaningful; while the difference of the same betweengraduate and postgraduate students and faculty members is meaningful.
